Thank you to Shasta of Shasta Daisy Knits

I also made a second Mini-Sock yarn bunny. My niece Emelyn who turned 10, promptly named him Tid Bit
Yarn: Bernat Softee Baby (100% acrylic DK weight)
Needles: US size 3- 3.25 mm needles

Yarn: Cascade 220 superwash. 3 shades of gray, two shades of blue. Only purchased skein was navy.
Needles: US 8

A new shawl design (in progress) for my best friend, Kris' birthday
Yarn: Cephalopod Skinny Bugga! in the Blue Damselfy Colorway

Tan House Brook Shawl Update:
-Still in Test Knitting [Round 2]
-Small revisions to make the pattern more symmetrical

Yarn: 3 colors of worsted weight yarn (about 55 yards total)- I used Leftovers Cascade 220 Superwash and Berocco Vintage
Needles: US 6- 4mm & US 7- 4.5 mm

In my opinion, this is a great first colorwork project.

From there I Improvised Baby Mitts to go with it. Full instructions in my Ravelry pattern notes.

Cast on 40 stitches! He says they're perfect. Fingers crossed!

Brainstorming

Family Christmas Stockings
All of my cousins have them (except the youngest babies). Need to give this crochet pattern a try! Wish me luck!

From Family Circle Magazine: November 15, 1977

From the Armchair

Here are some things I recommend:

Audio Podcasts
ACTually KNITting Podcast hosted by Michelle

Elise Gets Crafty hosted by Elise Blaha

Video Podcasts
I also found a great tutorial on Ysolda Teague’s blog about weaving in ends.
Mentions for chunky yarn- to split in half and weave in ends separately so it adds less bulk. Genius!

In My Travels
Mom, Dad and I travelled to visit family in St. Louis- March 14-17th
Riley and I knit together

(more on that next episode)

and we had a ball at the St. Patrick’s Day Parade

Events
On March 23 I taught my GoodReader for Knitting Class at the Stitch House in Dorchester.

Then from 12p-5p took Amy Herzog’s Fit to Flatter Class
Great class! I highly recommend checking out Amy's class if she's coming to a shop or convention near you!
